This artisan vessel is perfect for making mayo, pesto, grinding up dry or fresh herbs and garlic. I am amazed at how easy it is to clean too. It doesn’t hold an odor either. I use it two or three times a week and have had it for over a year.

    Japanese Mortar & Pestle

This utensil is beautiful, and so useful! I use it for mashing herbs and greens for pesto and sauces, but I also muddle fruit for a wonderful Old Fashioned. The pour spout is a really beneficial feature for any bowl (hint), and the size and shape is a perfect feel as you tilt and pour or spread. It matches the Black Mountain color and finish as though they are made for each other.
